I am a general contractor specializing in earthwork and grading, and I have had Madera Carports complete several structures for me and my customers. In every case, they have been very responsive, professional, and done an outstanding job. My clients have been very satisfied as well. As a note, I recently did some construction on a different property that had a similar building constructed by a different firm (not Madera). So, I inspected it closely and found that the quality of construction, workmanship, and finished product did not compare even remotely to the work I have been getting from Madera. One of the things I have liked most is that their staff has been superb to work with in designing ‘non-standard,’ not typical, designed buildings for me. I have seen several people comment that Madera did not pull a permit for their building and has dropped their rating down for this. I can attest that on Madera’s bid, paperwork, and contract, they specifically say that since they work in many different counties, the requirement to pull building permits rests with the homeowner, and that the homeowner is responsible for obtaining the permit. As you can tell, I am completely satisfied, my customers are completely satisfied, and I keep getting calls from prospective customers that want me to do the earthwork and grading and coordinate with Madera for their building.
